I just checked out a friend’s myspace profile and found this denver band: autumn film

The woman’s vocals remind me a bit of Frou Frou. I really like the piano as well.

For a while now I’ve been meaning to check out this sci-fi author that i read about five or so months ago. Finally I looked him up today on my blackberry. It turns out William Gibson is an amazing writer and visionary for technology and how it relates to society. His wikipedia entry says that he envisioned the internet eleven years before it was created. How tight is that?

I found mp3 copies of the original tape recordings of Gibson reading his most memorable book “Neuromancer”. They’re abridged and you can get them here. I’m thinking of mirroring them on my site as well since they’re no longer available [at least at the time of that site's posting]. Anyway, they’re going onto my blackberry for awesome listening pleasure. How can you go wrong with seven 45 minute author read mp3s? You can’t! Duh.

Okay, okay so most nerds and geeks out there already have read and worshiped this book, but I haven’t yet so give me a break.

I got insanely drunk this weekend. I continue t0 marvel at the copious amount of alcohol I can consume in a few hours time and still be standing.

My family bought me a 500GB backup drive so I won’t loose my files again. My lover and her best friend bought me Guitar Hero III [friggin' awesome]

I finally got some new pictures on my myspace, that took like two years.

Oh, something else not boring. I was surfing Adult-Swim.com today and I found an awesome rap/r+b artist that I actually like.
